South Australian companies win at National Export Awards
Three South Australian companies have been named winners at this year’s National Export Awards hosted by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission in Canberra.
For the second year running, Redarc Electronics, which was also awarded back-to-back South Australian Exporter of the Year awards in the Premier’s Business and Export Awards, took out the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials category.
Other South Australian companies to win included Small Business winner, MyVenue which in 2022, received the National Emerging Exporter of the Year Award; and Prophecy International which was named joint winner of the Advanced Technologies award.
Redarc Electronics, based at Lonsdale, also won the South Australian Manufacturing and Advanced Materials award this year. The company recently secured a $23 million contract in partnership with UK-based MARL International to provide 12,600 LED lights for three Hunter-class warships. Redarc Defence & Space and MARL International will manufacture 79 types of lights for each frigate, to be built at the Osborne Naval Shipyard in South Australia.

Named joint winner of the Advanced Technologies Award, Prophecy International provides data integration, analytics and business process automation solutions for a range of industries. Customers include global Fortune 1000 enterprises, government, defence and military organisations and finance, energy, utilities, health and retail businesses.
